My pricing will vary somewhat with the complexity of the document; urgent deadline scheduling; etc. My rates are typically $50/hour US, or $60/hour Canadian. For light edits, I’m averaging about 8,000 words per hour; for deeper edits, more like 4,000 words per hour. Citation formatting would be even less words per hour, as that level of precision takes time; journal publishing standards are very specific.
